Description
Statement of Work (SOW) for VHF/UHF Standalone Radio Equipment THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY (Not a notice of Solicitation) THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB CO, is searching for vendors who can provide VHF/UHF Standalone Radio Equipment as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The Government's requirement for this commodity is being developed. Market research is being conducted to determine interest, socio-economic category and comments to the Statement of Work (SOW). Interested parties are requested to submit comments to a total limit of five pages which address the following areas: 1) Is your business categorized as a large or small business ? The general definition of a small business is one that is independently owned and operated; is not dominant in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts and with its affiliates. 2) If your business is categorized as a small business, does your firm qualify in other categories ? If so, please state which categories such as 8(a), disadvantaged, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran, etc... 3) What information do you need in order to submit a proposal for this commodity other than the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and three (3) photos? 4) What comments do you have in regards to the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and/or three (3) photos? This notice does not constitute a formal solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or a promise to issue a formal solicitation. Market research is being conducted to identify qualified commercial sources capable of providing VHF/UHF Standalone Radio Equipment as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice. The objective of this notice is to provide vendors a better understanding of the requirement for this commodity and to help determine any subsequent small business set-asides. Firms responding should specify if their VHF/UHF Standalone Radio Equipment meets the requirements specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) and provide detailed product information to show clear technical compliance. When submitting your capabilities package, please state whether or not you can meet this requirement, including quantity and an estimated delivery date from the date of contract award. If possible, please include a recent commercial sales history. The NAICS Code to be used for this acquisition is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 750 employees. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a set-aside based upon responses hereto for any subsequent acquisition. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/Foreign-controlled. Capabilities package: All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities and product specifications related to this effort.
