- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Service Area, Southern Region, AAQ-510 ATL, College Park, Georgia has a requirement for HVAC Replacement at the Mobile ATCT (MOB), AL. This requirement is solely set-aside for Pre-Existing/Qualified Contractors under the Eastern Service Area Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). Any interested firms who are on the Eastern Service Area Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) and identified HVAC Replacement in their Declaration of Primary/Secondary Interest and Ability for Task Order Performance that would like to be considered for Award are required to submit a complete Proposal package by the solicitation close date noted below. The projected period of performance for this entire project is 180 calendar days. For reporting purposes, the NAICS code is 238220- Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors, with a small business size standard of $14 million average annual receipts over the past 3 fiscal years. 3.2.2.3-63 Site Visit (Construction) (July 2004) (a)AMS clauses 3.2.2.3-42, Differing Site Conditions, and 3.2.2.3-43, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded under this SIR. Accordingly, FAA urges and expects offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed. When responding to this Request for Proposal (RFP), each Offeror is required to submit a cost breakdown proposal in addition to all other required documents outlined in the RFP (under the Required Submissions section). Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to allow sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at the FAA Southern Region Office. Overnight delivery of responses to this RFP may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at the Southern Region Office.
