- Description
- In accordance with FAR Part 13.106(b)(1), the Department of Energy, Idaho Operations Office (DOE-ID) is negotiating a fixed-price, sole source award with Accelera Solutions for one year Gold Support for Nutanix Block with 4 nodes Nutanix for SRD & SIPRNet; extended coverage for up to 80 hours of technical support; and 2 year Gold Support for Nutanix Block with 4 nodes Nutanix. DOE-ID purchased Nutanix hardware for SRD & SIPRNet to meet cyber security systems requirements. In addition to purchasing the equipment it is also required to purchase the installation which includes the travel as well as the maintenance and support service. The hardware has been purchased under a competitive source and Accelera Solutions was selected. Accelera Solutions as it is the only known vendor to meet the necessary requirements for the continued maintenance of this equipment. The estimated cost for this service is $110,000.00. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. You must also furnish your business size information; NAICS 541513; size standard anticipated for this acquisition is Small Business. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award to Accelera Solutions. Responses are due by July 23, 2012, 12:00 p.m. (ET).
