Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs National Cemetery Administration is soliciting quotes for Project Number NRM 874-12-007, Metal Roof Replacement for the Lodge at Richmond National Cemetery, 1701 Williamsburg Road, Richmond, VA 23231. Solicitation No. VA786A-12-Q-0064 is issued as a 100% Total Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veterans Owned Businesses in accordance with 38 USC 8127(d). Contractor is to provide all supervision, labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to replace all metal sections of the lodge. This includes, but is not limited to, removing all metal roofing and existing flashing associated with metal roofing; install new metal roofing to match existing color and install new flashing. Upper Roof is 520 square feet; lower roof is 330 square feet and porch is 300 square feet to be removed and replaced. Award will be made in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and will be made to the quote that is most advantageous to the Government considering price and past performance. The Magnitude of Construction Price Range is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The NAICS code is 238160 with a standard size of $14.5 million. Solicitation will be issued on/about July 13, 2012, with a receipt for quotes by July 23, 2012. Interested Parties must be verified as an SDVOSB in the Department of Veterans Affairs VetBiz system in order to be eligible for award (www.vetbiz.gov). Also, Quoters must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database in order to be eligible for award. CCR registration must be current and active (www.bpn.gov/ccr). Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) also apply to this solicitation (www.orca.bpn.gov).
