Description
This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside. Therefore, any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Therefore, quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M67400-12-T-0109 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-56 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The FSC code is 7644 and the NAICS code is 541370. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government considering Technical Capability, Price and Delivery. However, the Government does reserve the right to issue multiple awards if it is deemed in the best interest of the Government. Award will be made in aggregate. Therefore, any offer received without all products priced will be excluded from competition. This is Brand Name or Equal procurement. The referenced brand names in the attached item(s) list are not intended to be restrictive, but represent the minimum requirements of the Government. The salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics must be met in order for an "equal" item to be acceptable for award by the Government. It is the quoter's responsibility to furnish sufficient information to the Government in order to determine acceptability of the offered 'equal' items. Therefore, if "equal" item(s) is quoted, the offeror shall submit all technical specifications for the Government to review in order to determine technical acceptability. All supplies, as annotated in the attached item(s) list, awarded under this contract are expected to be delivered NLT 30 days after the award. Failure to provide the required information and attachment may result in your quote being considered non-responsive by the Government. Offerors are advised questions regarding this requirement must be submitted to michael.wensjoe@usmc.mil NLT 1500 (EST) on 07 23 2012. However, offerors are advised it is their responsibility to ensure all information pertaining to this RFQ is received in full by the Regional Contracting Office-Far East NLT then the expiration of this RFQ. The requirement description is as follows: CLIN 0001 Intranet website map address data The government requires (50) user accounts with accessability. All data must be current through date of contract award and meet the following salient characteristics: -Prioritized to Geographic Information System (GIS) database -Map Data and Road Network data should be compatible with ArcGIS Desktop 9.3 -JGD2000 Projection -Multi Language support in the following languages: -English -Japanese -City Map data should have, at a minimum: Expressways, national highways, railways, administrative boundaries, stations, public facilities, parks, large stores, stations, ferries, house outlines, major roads, green areas, expressway ramp directional arrows -Road Network Data should have, at a minimum: Road information, intersection names, lane information, traffic restriction information, traffic signal information The government requires the following data: Address Data for: Okinawa, Yamaguchi, and Hiroshima prefectures City Map Data (1/2,500) for Okinawa, Yamaguchi, hiroshima, Kanagawa and Shizuoka prefectures Base Map Data (1/25,000) for Okinawa, Yamaguchi, Hiroshima, Kanagawa and Shizuoka prefectures Road Network Data for Yamaguchi, Hiroshima,Kanagawa and Shizuoka Prefectures (End of RFQ)
