Description

THIS IS A TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Iowa City VA Health Care System intends to issue Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for electrical contractor to provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, and supervision necessary to perform station level project 636A8-11-006SL, "Site Prep Information Technology Uninterruptible Power Supply", at the Iowa City VA Healthcare System according to drawings and specifications. Work includes, but not limited to, demolition and installation of electrical panels and connection to the IT UPS. Work shall be done in a professional manner in accordance to all federal, state and local codes and regulations. Contract Completion Time: 160 days Specifications and Drawings for submitting a bid will be available at (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). All respondents must be registered in the CCR database (http://www.ccr.gov) and complete online Representations and Certifications at (http://orca.bpn.gov), along with Vets 100 at (http://vets.dol.gov/vets100/). Offerors must be registered in VetBiz at (http://www.vetbiz.gov/). Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). All parties must obtain amendments to the solicitation through this web site. Hard copies will not be mailed. Interested parties must go to the web site to be entered on the Interested Vendors List and/or to obtain copies of the Interested Vendors List. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to (felecia.beamen2@va.gov). Issue Date is scheduled for July 9, 2012. The Site-visit will be held July 18, 2012, 10:00AM local time, Bldg. 1, Room 9E06, Iowa City VA Medical Center, 601 Highway 6 West, Iowa City, IA 52246. Quotes accepted no later than 2:00 P.M., July 27, 2012, via mail addressed to: ATTN: Felecia Beamen, Department of Veterans Affairs, 1303 5th St. Suite 300, Coralville, Iowa 52241. The applicable NAICS Code is 238210, with the applicable size standard being $14.0 million. Cost range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
