- TITLE: 1680; BELL CRANK; T-38 A AIRCRAFT; WSIC: L PR: 0045248462, ISSUE DATE: 26 DEC 2011; CLOSING DATE: 25 JAN 2012 NSN: 1680-01-573-5817; PR: 0045248462; Item: Bell Crank; P/N: 200925092-30. This procurement is suitable for competitive acquisition; however the part must be produced from class 1 casting and similar type forging as approved by controlled sources. The item approve sources for casting are: Design / OL, Inc. (CAGE 0R2T5), Johnson Manufacturing, Inc. (CAGE 1SJ80), G. S. E. Dynamics, Inc. (CAGE 29183), Essner Manufacturing, L.P. (CAGE 2B834), International Precision, Inc. (CAGE 3H683), Aurora Casting, & Engr Inc. (CAGE 3W130), Kovatch Casting Inc (CAGE 58255), Uni-Cast, Inc. (CAGE 6Z232), Carley Foundry, Inc (CAGE 76080), Northop Grumman System (CAGE 76823), Northwest Machining & Mfg., Inc. (CAGE 9J448). This solicitation will result in a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (SBSA) Definite Quantity - Firm Fixed Price contract for 350 each. This is a Critical Safety Item and a Critical Application Item. This item is subject to Configuration Control and Export Control. Government First Article Testing applies. The following terms apply: FOB DESTINATION; Inspection / Acceptance ORIGIN. Delivery for this procurement will be DLA DIRECT (STOCK) ship to: Tracey,CA. The First Article is due 274 days from date of award (DARO). Production delivery will be 274 days after first article acceptance (DAFAA). Any manufacturer, providing casting and forging from other than the approves sources listed above, wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) information may be found via http://www.dscr.dla.mil/sarguide.doc. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) and Past Performance Automated System (PPIRS_SR) apply. Price, Past Performance and Delivery will be equally weighted. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This request is for a written quote. Please submit offers in writing. The solicitation issue date will be 23 July 2012 with a closing date of 22 August 2012.
