Description

Solicitation Justification The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Net-Centric Services Branch, Software Section (DITCO/PL8321), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source award to OPNET Technologies, Inc. to provide brand name annual software maintenance renewal for the DISA CONUS. The period of performance (PoP) is for twelve (12) months beginning 1 October 2012 - 30 September 2013. OPNET Technologies is the exclusive reseller of OPNET software maintenance. OPNET is the manufacturer and maintains sole proprietary rights to its Software and Maintenance. No other vendor, reseller or distributor is legally authorized to sell wInsight maintenance. Contract award cannot be made to any contractor not enrolled in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. This notice of intent expires at 12am CST on 12 July 2012. Please contact lindsay.e.musenbrock.civ@mail.mil with questions. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This purchase will be made under FAR Part 13..
