- This is a notice of intent that 638 SCMG/PKAC anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to include a Basic Year plus Four (4) Option Years, Firm Fixed Price Requirements Type Contract for the purchase of Test Set, Telecommunication; Generic NSN: 6625-01-602-1113RH; Purchase Description (PD) Number: PD12WRGUEEA02. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside Commercial Spares Acquisition. The Basic Year is for a Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) of Seven (7) Each; Option I is for a BEQ of Three (3) Each; Option II is for a BEQ of Three (3) Each; Option III is for a BEQ of Three (3) Each; and Option IV is for a BEQ of Three (3) Each. This acquisition will include PD Number: PD12WRGUEEA02, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Number A001 for Calibration Certificate and CDRL Number A002 for Technical Manual Contract Requirement (TMCR), Engineering Notes, Calibration Instructions for Vendors (Review of Data Call), Calibration Certificate for the Data Item Description (DID), Transportation Data (DD Form 1653), Packaging Instructions (AFMC Form 158), and Vendor Packaging Instructions. Again, this competitive acquisition is 100% Small Business Set Aside. Delivery will be 90 Days After Receipt of Order. The response date for the Solicitation will be issued approximately 9 July 2012 with a quote due date of approximately 8 August 2012. The RFP will be issued using electronic procedures which will be posted at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation shall be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offerors should contact the Buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offerors may contact Ombudsman Ms. Kim McDonald at 478-222-1088.
