Description
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Stewart, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB), to award a single firm fixed price contract for Upgrade Fire Alarm and Fire supression systems in Multiple Buildings Fort Stewart (FSGA), Georgia. The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing labor, materials, and performing all operations required in connection with install and replace fire alarms, located at Fort Stewart, GA, and complete in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The work includes but is not limited to the following items: IJO# WG-33-2J Replace Fire Alarm System in Building 647 - Remove existing fire alarm control panel and all initiation and notification devices, install new control panel, transceiver, and devices, and provide new wiring as needed to create a complete circuit. IJO # WG-53-1J Replace Fire Alarm System in Building 610 and Install Fire Alarm System in Building 85 - Building 610 Remove existing fire alarm control panel and all initiation and notification devices, install new control panel, transceiver, and devices, and provide new wiring as needed to create a complete circuit and provide new mass notificatton system. Building 85 Install new fire alarm system and mass notification system. IJO# WG-73-2J Upgrade Warehouse Fire Alarm System Bldg 1120 - Install new addressable fire alarm systems. Replace existing electrical distribution panel. Upgraade existing electrical service from 100 amps to 225 amps. IJO# WG-76-2J Provide Fire Suppression System, Building 254 - Furnish and install a new clean agent fire suppression system in existing server roo and upgrade the existing fire alarm system in order to accommodate the clean agent fire suppression system. Add fire alarm devices as needed for code compliance. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) under NAICS code 238210. The small business size standard is 14 million. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Contract performance time is 90 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Solicitation Number W9124M-12-B-0014, will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. A link may be provided through FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring ASFI for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. Information regarding date and time of an organized site visit will be contained in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about July 16, 2012. In order to be eligible for award All Bidders MUST: Be registered in the Central Contractors Registration Database (CCR): Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished at www.ccr.gov. Prospective contractors must be registered with CCR prior to award of any contract. ORCA Requirement: To be eligible for a contract award and prior to submitting an offer, a firm must be registered in the database. Please register your Representations and Certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov/ EDWOSB Requirement: A small business not less than 51% unconditionally and directly owned and controlled by one or more women who are United States citizens and are economically disadvantaged. Must show in CCR that it is an EDWOSB must have the appropriate representations in ORCA and must have provided the required documents to the WOSB Program Repository prior to submitting a bid. Paperless File System: MICC-Fort Stewart is operating a paperless contracting file system. A minimum of one copy o each document submitted to the contracting office shall be in an electronic format. Acceptable formats are PDF, DOC(x), XLS(x), TXT, JPG and XPS. All submissions shall include one (1) CD with all required documents and one (1) paper copy of each bid.
