- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Group (AMEG) has a wide variety of Rockwell Collins (RCI) avionics components and electronic equipment that require purchase, repair, calibration, overhaul, repair and exchange, and technical services to include but not limited to technical data/documentation including instruction manuals, and engineering support services at various quantities and times from various locations. This is a market survey for Rockwell Collins (RCI) Original Equipment Manufacturer avionics supplies and services required in accordance with the attached draft statement of work. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendors expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of fulfilling this requirement. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this effort is 488190, Other Support Activities for Air Transportation, with a size standard of $30.0 Million. HOW TO RESPOND TO THIS MARKET SURVEY: Interested contractors should submit the following documents to the point of contact listed at the bottom of this announcement: 1. Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. 2. Capability Statement - This document should identify: a) Type of services provided by your firm b) Number of years in business c) Geographic area where your company can provide services d) certifications as required in Statement of Work e) Previous contracts information 3. Expected programmatic approach (in-house, teaming, subcontracting, etc.) - Respondents must provide their strategy for accomplishing this work, including the percentage of work that will be done by eligible small, service-disabled veteran-owned and 8(a) certified businesses. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A PAGE LIMITATION OF SEVEN (7) PAGES MAXIMUM PER RESPONSE TO THIS MARKET SURVEY. THIS IS ONLY A REQUEST FOR GENERAL INFORMATION. EXCESSIVE SUBMISSIONS ARE NOT DESIRED. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
