- Sole Source Justification The contractor shall broadly disseminate Mental Health First Aid through community-based trainings in rural areas as outlined in the Statement of Work dated July 2, 2012. • The contractor shall meet in person or via phone with the project officer to discuss the work plan developed by the contractor. • The contractor shall submit monthly e-mail reports. • Each month, the contractor shall share information on Rural Mental Health First Aid with at least 30 communities through their webpage, via phone or in person. The contactor will track the engagement of communities in Rural Mental Health First Aid, with the goal of 5-15 training referrals per month. The contractors shall conduct 4-6 presentations at national and regional meetings. • The contractor shall work with the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORO) to distribution information on Rural Mental Health First Aid to all 50 State Offices of Rural Health Policy. NOSORO will develop a guide for communities on how to organize a ½ day leadership summit around the effective organization of mental health services. State Offices of Rural Health will be asked to share the guide along with information on Rural Mental Health First Aid. NOSORO shall send a second communication with the same material four months after initial communication. • The contractor shall develop an evaluation plan for the Rural Mental Health First Aid training and share with rural health research centers that might be interested in implementing such an evaluation given their mission. • The contractor shall prepare an end-of-project briefing. PRICE WILL RECEIVE PARAMOUNT CONSIDERATION.
