*************PLEASE CONTACT SABRINA PEARSON, ONLY, IN WRITING AT SABRINA.M.PEARSON@NASA.GOV, OR FAX (256) 544-6560, FOR QUOTE OR TECHNICAL CONCERNS CONTACT INFORMATION IS ALSO IN THE BODY OF THIS SOLICATION.***************** This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation shall not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the purchase of Pneumatic Valves. MSFC is requesting that the valves be 'the same as or equal' to attached specifications. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement is 332912. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. However, any award from this RFQ shall require the potential vendor to be certified within the Online Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) Databases prior to award. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to MSFC, Central Receiving, Bldg. 4631, MSFC, AL. Delivery date TBD. Offers for the items described above are due by July 13, 2012 by 4:00 P.M. CST to Sabrina Pearson at Sabrina.m.pearson@nasa.gov or faxed to (256)544-6560 and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration, taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (FEB 2012), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product offered is other than a domestic end product as defined in the clause entitled 'Buy American Act -- Supplies,' the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. CST. All Technical questions, with answers, shall be posted by July 11, 2012. Telephone questions shall not be accepted. All technical questions shall be answered as a modification to this solicitation. Selection and award shall be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Technical acceptability shall be determined by review of information submitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficient detail to show that the product offered meets the Government's requirement. NASA Clause 1852.215.84(NOV 2011), Ombudsman, is applicable.
