Attachment 3, Application for Activity Access Attachment 2, Pricing Spreadsheet Attachment 1, Statement of Work (SOW) MTU Maintenance RFP, 12-R-GA002 3 July 2012, Solicitation: Solicitation (RFP) is attached. Please reference immediately section L10 of the RFP which describes the site visit to the FRC in Key West, FL. Attachment J-3 will need to be forwarded to the contract specialist and RFP POC by 10 July for each person requiring access. 20 June 2012, Presolicitation: The U.S. Coast Guard Asset Project Office has a requirement to issue a Firm Fixed Priced (about 95%) / Labor Hour (about 5%) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract, for one base year with four option years for the maintenance of new Motoren Und Turbinen-Union (MTU) propulsion systems onboard the Fast Response Cutter (FRC). The propulsion system includes MTU series 4000 engines, ZF reduction gear, and MTU Callosum control and monitoring. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number of this acquisition is HSCG23-12-R-GA002. This acquisition is not set aside for any small business concerns. The NAICS Code is 336611 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. That information is proprietary to the manufacturer, MTU. The Government intends to do a ship check with interested vendors at the location of the FRC in Key West, FL after the solicitation is released. Details will be provided in the solicitation. All maintenance, scheduled and unscheduled, will be detailed further in the Statement of Work (SOW). The Request for Proposal (RFP), SOW and all other applicable documents will be uploaded electronically to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website following the closing of this presolicitation notice. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the EPS system for future notices and changes. Offers shall be made in accordance with FAR Provision 52.212-1. Requests for copies of the solicitation are NOT available to be mailed. All responsive and responsible firms that meet the requirements of the SOW and solicitation may submit an offer which may be considered by this agency. However, the Governement intends to deal solely with MTU certified parts and repair facilities. A copy of the Brand Name Justification will be made available with the solicitation. The solicitation will be made available on FBO on or about 9 July 2012.
