Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District has an urgent need for quarry materials at various locations along the Missouri River. The Kansas City District intends to award multiple, five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement's (BPA's), utilizing full and open competition. These materials will be acquired by placing calls against a BPA. Calls for materials will be placed against the BPA as materials are required. The Contractor is responsible for supplying and delivering all materials under this BPA. Please see the "Additional documentation" link below in regards to measurement. The total ordering capacity under each BPA shall not exceed $5,000,000.00 and no call issued under any of the BPAs shall exceed $150,000.00. Each BPA shall be valid for a period of five years or when the total dollar amount of all calls issued under the BPA reaches $5,000,000.00, whichever comes first. The Contractor shall provide a delivery capability statement and a price list to include the following materials, as well as any other materials they regularly sell. All proposed price lists shall include the description, and price for each product listed. Prices are to be listed per ton and should not include any fees for delivery. Delivery locations and fees will be negotiated at the placement of each call. Prices submitted shall remain good through 31 December 2012. Subsequently, prices will be updated annually and remain good for a period of one year. All interested parties shall submit a price list to Mr. Josh Hill at william.j.hill@usace.army.mil by 2:00 PM CST, 18 July 2012. No facsimile submittals will be accepted. Offerors may submit prices in any logical format; however, the document submitted must be compatible with Microsoft Word. To be considered for award all prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR), as well as the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
