- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest intends to acquire by contract road repair services. The project work includes, but is not limited to: pipe arch footing repair; embankment repair; culvert removals; construction of drainage excavation and dips; stream channel restoration; erosion control/turf establishment; ditch restoration; placement of roadway surfacing; and traffic signing and marking. The Project is located in Snohomish County. From I-5, Exit at State Hwy 530 and proceed East 2.25 miles to the intersection of SR 9. Proceed South, 8.8 miles to the intersection of SR 92. Continue Easterly on SR 92 for 9 miles reaching the intersection with Alder Road in Granite Falls. Proceed North on Alder Road (Alder Rd. will become Mt. Loop Hwy.) for approximately 6.6 miles to the intersection of FSR 41. It is approximately 8 miles on FSR 41 to the intersection of FSR 4130. The project area starts at MP 4.00 on FSR 41, T 31 N, R 7 E, Section 6. This project will be solicited as a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this project is 237310 with a size standard of $33.5 million. The solicitation for this project will be made available on this website on or about July 18, 2012 with proposals due on or about August 16, 2012. Proposals will be evaluated base on price, past performance, experience, technical approach, and other factors. The estimated cost of construction for the base item on this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible parties meeting the set-aside requirement will be considered for award. Interested parties are encouraged to register as an interested vendor for this project. In order to receive award of a contract, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov as well as the Online Representations and Certifications website at www.orca.bpn.gov.
