Description
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is soliciting a Request for Proposal (RFP) FQ12202/AMB, for the procurement of three (3) Hi Rail 180 Degree Cranes with 20,000 lbs. capacity. This contract requires the performance, design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, delivery and acceptance of three (3) Hi Rail 180 Degree Cranes with 20,000 lbs. lifting capacity for the ability to move equipment and parts on and off the tracks of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority 'WMATA', as well as on-track training and initial on-track in-service operation by contractor personnel. The solicitation can be downloaded or a copy may be requested by e-mail at ablanton@wmata.com on or about July 3, 2012. The Proposal is due on or before August 3, 2012, time and location is specified in the solicitation. There is a DBE goal of 0.75% for this solicitation. If there are questions, please submit to Alicia Blanton, Contract Administrator via email at ablanton@wmata.com. The last date for questions will be July 13, 2012. All vendors should register in the Metro Vendor Registration System (VRS). To register, visit our website at www.wmata.com and click on Business with Metro.
