The contractor shall provide medical and mental health care claims processing and support services by incorporating and operating the best practices of the private sector in support of TRICARE. The Government is contemplating a fixed-price, indefinitely delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 12-month transition basic period, and five 1-year option periods. The purpose of this Notice is to provide potential offerors with the DRAFT request for proposal (RFP) for the TDEFIC solicitation. It is intended for information purposes only. Offerors are invited to review the attached DRAFT solicitation documents and submit questions or comments about the DRAFT RFP via email to Mr. Steve Conn, Contract Analyst, not later than 4:00 pm MT, June 29 2012. Please include the following in the subject line: DRAFT TDEFIC HT9402-12-R-0005. Any questions about the DRAFT RFP shall be submitted using the attached Excel TDEFIC Draft RFP Question matrix via email to Mr. Conn. Interested firms shall not send proposals in response to this Notice, nor shall they contact any other individuals about this Notice or the TDEFIC requirement. Any information provided to TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation and is clearly provided at no cost to the Government. A solicitation will not be issued at this time, and this Notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government may issue a formal solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (fbo.gov) website at a future date. If the Government issues a solicitation, the Government will conduct any source selection in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented, at the TMA Contract Operations Division-Aurora (TMA COD-A), in Aurora, Colorado. Any future information on this acquisition (statement of work, specifications, solicitation, etc.) will be posted on www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the prospective offeror to review this site regularly for updates and/or changes.
