Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to construct paths, stormwater drainage amenities, and finely grade lawn area in an effort to promote accessibility, recreation, and the historic preservation of the Rosemary Inn landscape. This project will require coordination with NatureBridge (formerly Olympic Park Institute) as they operate an educational institute at the site. They operate year round for other activities such as weddings on the weekends. Contractor should be prepared to approach the sequence of the work in a manner that will be minimally disruptive to NatureBridge operations. All work will be performed under a single fixed price construction contract. This project is being solicited and awarded as a total (100%) small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990, Roofing Contractors, with an associated small business size standard of $33.5 million. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. SITE VISIT: An organized site visit be scheduled. Offerors may make a site visit on their own time, however, it is strongly encouraged that Offerors seriously interested in submitting a proposal attend the organized site visit. The site visit information (location, date/time, directions) will be included in the solicitation - clauses Section L. Solicitation number P12PS00598 will be posted to http:///www.fbo.gov with a link to retrieve the solicitation form, clauses, specifications, wage rates, and all other associated documents at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 16, 2012, with a response date 30 days thereafter.
