NOTE added 6/29/2012: On past OMAD projects we included all specifications & plan sheets in the solictation book. This year the plans are not in the book (see the plans link), and the book only includes the Special Contract Requirements, which supplement the STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS AND BRIDGES ON FEDERAL HIGHWAY PROJECTS, FP-03, US CUSTOMARY. You can view the FP-03 document online at: http://flh.fhwa.dot.gov/resources/pse/specs/. ********************* ROJECT: MT OMAD 18(50) Minuteman Missile Base Roads LOCATION: Various sites in Cascade, Lewis & Clark, and Teton Counties, Montana WORK: Roadway reconditioning, aggregate surfacing, drainage, cattle guard replacement & other smaller items of work. SCHEDULES: This work is being bid under 4 schedules, each with differing amounts of work; one schedule will be awarded. LENGTH: Schedule A - 49.43 miles; Schedule B - 56.70 miles; Schedule C - 64.92 miles; and Schedule D - 68.32 miles. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: See the attached Description of Work. TENATIVE COMPLETION DATE: Fall 2014 (all schedules). ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: $3,000,000 and $5,000,000 THIS SOLICITATION IS OFFERED AS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This paragraph announces possible financing available to small businesses. The three types of businesses that are eligible to receive a loan through this program are: (1) Firms that have received DBE certification from a state or local transportation agency; (2) Eligible small business firms; and (3) Firms that have received a disability rating by the Veteran's Administration and have certified themselves as a SDVOSB. Start-up businesses are not eligible to receive a STLP line of credit and should contact the SBA for information about other possible forms of financial assistance. (NOTE - This paragraph does not reserve this solicitation for these types of business): The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
