Description
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Energy Information Administration (EIA) intends to award a sole source contract to Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI). This proposed six (6) month contract includes five (5) six (6) month Option Periods to provide EIA, with ArcGIS Server Standard Hosting service for public viewing of interactive energy themed maps and ArcGIS Enterprise Developer Network License to provide a developmental server and support published exclusively by ESRI. ArcGIS is the only solution capable of meeting the agency?s entire critical web mapping needs. The ArcGIS Server solution is the most full‐featured, flexible, scalable, and supported solution, and it fully integrates with EIA's existing desktop mapping assets. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii). This is a notice of intent and not a reques t for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within seven (7) calendar days of publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
