- Travis AFB intends to award a contract for the provision of a new projector system with the capability to project images from dual sources and a single source projected in the center when side by side images are not being used. Also a panel to advance the sides from the commander's seat, (non wireless), working sound and a touch panel to control the projector and room functions form podium. This is a posting for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z0422136A401. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58, effective 18 Mar 2012, DPN 20120615, effective 15 Jun 2012 and AFAC 2012-0330, effective 30 Mar 2012. This acquisition will be solicited as a 100 % Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310. The business size standard is 750 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5820. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3651. This requirement is being solicited through the Government Point of Entry, www.fbo.gov, as 100% set aside for small businesses. Requirement Description: 0001-AA : Contractor shall supply all tools, labor, materials, and transportation to provide a new projector with capability to project images from dual sources and a single source projected in the center when side by side images are not being used. Also a panel to advance the sides from the commander's seat, (non wireless), working sound and a touch panel to control the projector and room functions from the podium to include installation. 52.237-1 Site Visit. Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Details: All contractors planning to attend this site visit should confirm attendance via email by 6 July 2012. The site visit is scheduled for 9 July 2012 at 10:00 a.m. PST. Contractors are to meet in the Visitors Center parking lot adjacent to the Travis AFB Pass and Registration Center by 9:45 am to proceed to the site and will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. No other site visits are scheduled at this time. A base pass is not necessary as transportation will be provided by 60 CONS. As a safe measure contractors should bring their driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance in case it will be necessary to bring your vehicle on base. Contractors should bring something to write with; questions posed during the site visit are to be submitted in writing at the close of the site visit. Responses will be posted to ensure fair solicitation to all potential contractors. Contractors are able to bring additional items to assist in providing a more accurate quote. Any questions or concerns regarding this site visit shall be submitted to 60 CONS in writing prior to the site visit. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none.
