- Statement of Work Reverse Osmosis machine 1.0Background The U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological (ECBC) Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is a subordinate command of the U.S. Army Research and Engineering Development Command (RDECOM). The Veterinary Services Team is under the Research and Technology Directorate of ECBC. One of the VST's main responsibilities is to take care of all research animals within the R & T directorate. There are laws, rules and guidelines that need to be followed in carrying out our responsibilities, which includes maintaining equipment that is used to supply water to the animal facility. 2.0Objective To provide full service maintenance on the following equipment: 1 reverse osmosis purification system 3.0Scope of Work -inspect and record data on the distribution pumps and perform a mechanical function check - inspect and record data on the multi media filters and perform a mechanical function check. - inspect and record data on the water softener and perform a mechanical function check. -Maintain brine tank - inspect and record data on the carbon filter and perform a mechanical function check. - inspect and record data on the chemical injection pumps and perform a mechanical function - inspect and record data on the pre-filter housing and perform a mechanical function check. - inspect and record data on the RO pumps and perform a mechanical function check - inspect and record data on the reverse osmosis portion of machine and perform a mechanical function check -clean membranes - inspect and record data on the RO pumps and perform a mechanical function check - inspect and record data on the ultraviolet units and annual lamp replacement and annual cleaning of quartz sleeve - inspect and record data on the post submicron filters and annual replace post filters - inspect and record data on the storage tanks and accessories and perform a mechanical function check - inspect and record data on the system control panel -annually sanitize RO membranes, storage tank, and distribution loop -semi-annually calibrate resistivity and flow meters -perform quarterly bacteria test -will give 24 hr notice to access building for routine maintenance -must be able to respond to emergencies in 24 hrs -provide the following supplies: SWT CATALOG #CONTRACTED MATERIALSCONTRACT QUANTITY FCR0F200520" 5 micron pre-filter8 B1000829840 lbs.
