- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a sole source contract to CACI Technologies, 14370 Newbrook Drive, Chantilly, VA 20151. The intended Sole source effort is to provide workforce development support services for Naval Ship Building and Ship Maintenance communities. These organizations require services for workforce development that include ship maintenance and ship building operational expertise in the areas of Manpower, Personnel, Training, Logistics, and workforce development. These services will be required on any Naval Shipyard and/or facility under the collective purview of NAVSEA organization. The objective of an award is to provide continuing support and services for the Director, SEA04X, NAVSEA. The period of performance for this contract will be for six months. This six (6) month contract is meant to be a bridge for the existing contract to the follow on competitive contract, which the Solicitation is currently posted in the Seaport-e portal. This requirement is satisfied under Seaport-e Task Order N00178-04-D-4026-EH04. This contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). CACI Technologies is the only known company which currently possesses the knowledge and expertise to meet the Navy ™s technical and schedule requirements to support SEA 04X. No other source has the technical capability to perform the work described in the time frame required to meet the Navy ™s operational needs.
