Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, San Juan, Puerto Rico intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with ATT&T, Guaynabo, PR 00968 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This action is to provide data transmission services for the San Juan VA Caribbean Healthcare Center, Mayaguez and Ponce Outpatient Clinic, Arecibo CBOC,Guayama CBOC, Comerio CBOC, Utuado CBOC, Ceiba CBOC, Viequez CBOC, Tres Rios Building and Carolina Warehouse.procurement. The Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System at San Juan, Puerto Rico requires the contractor must have local service offices and representation on the Island with their own Data infrastructure of towers, broadband, microwave, fiber landline service within Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation package is available. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to these requirements by June, 28 2012 10:00AM Caribbean/Puerto Rico. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
