Description
NOTE: Businesses that do not register PRIOR to the event will not be allowed to participate - NO WALK-INS! THIS EVENT IS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES CLASSIFIED AS 8(a), HUBZone or SDVOSB that provide INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) supplies/services. Large businesses or small businesses without the aforementioned classifications cannot participate! The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is hosting a HUBZone/8(a)/SDVOSB Small Business Expo. The purpose of the event is to bring together HUBZone, 8(a), and SDVOSB concerns to our customers managing information technology supplies/services to display their capabilities at vendor booths and to speak with Program Offices and Acquisition Personnel. Vendors should possess the knowledge, skills and abilities at least in one of the following categories: Governance & Infrastructure Mgmt., Privacy Filters, Professional Staffing Solutions, Backup & Recovery, Archive, Replication, Search & Resource Mgmt., Infrastructure Design, Installation and Implementation, Data Management, Engineering Services, Networking, Disaster Recovery, Application Development, Information Security, Data Center, Collaboration, Networks & Client Computing, Content-enabled Workflow Solutions, Advanced Data Tracking, Business Process Mgmt., Barcode Equipment, IT/IM Solutions, Information Assurance, Suitability Adjudication, IT related Human Resources, and Security Mobility NOTE: Participation in this expo by no means guarantees a federal contract with OPM nor does it constitute discussions of any upcoming procurement. WHERE: OPM Federal Building, 1900 E Street, NW, Washington, DC 20415 DATE: Wednesday, July 18, 2012 TIME: 9:00am - 2:00pm REGISTRATION INFORMATION: All vendors must register in order to participate. Vendors who do not register in advance cannot participate. Registration opens at 12:00noon, Eastern Standard Time, Friday, June 29, 2012 and closes at 5:00pm, Eastern Standard Time, Friday, July 06, 2012, 11:59 pm. The FBO notice will be updated when the registration spaces are full. Registrations must be sent to JOSIAH.DELTORO@OPM.GOV. The email must include SMALL BUSINESS EXPO-JULY 18, 2012 in the subject line, with the name and address of the company, the company's DUNS number, and the full name of the person(s) planning on attending the event in the body of the email. Registration requests that do not contain the aforementioned information will not be considered. Registration requests will not be taken by telephone. The small business must be a SBA-Certified HUBZone or 8(a) concern, or a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, at the time of the event that provides information technology supplies or services. Any change in the firm's socio-economic status must be reported to the OPM Small Business Office immediately. The event is open to all HUBZone, 8(a) or SDVOSB concerns as described; however, registration is on a first come, first served basis. Socio-economic status will be confirmed before confirmation of your registration. Security information will be sent with your confirmation email. You are not confirmed for this event until you receive a confirmation email from the IRS Small Business Program Office. DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS, THERE ARE ONLY 12 SPACES AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT. 4 SPACES FOR EACH OF THE AFORMENTIONED SOCIO-ECONOMIC CATEGORIES. ONLY 2 PERSONS PER COMPANY WILL BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER. Firms are expected to participate at the event for the full duration, 9:00am to 2:00pm. Firms needing to leave early should have representation from their company in place before leaving the event. Please ensure that your firm is registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) and ensure that your Dynamic Small Business Search profile is updated and complete.
