- The following questions were submitted, and answers are provided in reference to this Synopsis/Solicitation: 1. Would the two groups be in the US simultaneously? Answer, No - the two groups will be consecutive. An ATO China representative will accompany both. 2. Are training and presentation materials required to be translated into Mandarin or they can be provided in English only? Answer, Translation of key materials is strongly preferred. ATO staff can provide some assistance if needed and if materials are received well in advance. 3. Is it recommended to have consecutive interpretation for all the meetings and visits? Answer, Consecutive translation is preferred but not required for formal presentations. Incidental translation will be provided by ATO staff. 4. Is the contractor's responsible for purchasing domestic airfare only? Answer: Who purchased international airfares for the participants? ATO will purchase air tickets 5. Does ATO arrange for participants' insurance while they are in the US? Answer: No. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own travelers insurance. 6. Would ATO allow participants to travel via Amtrak between NY City and Washington DC/Virginia? Answer, Yes. 7. Would the contractor receive bios, learning objectives for the trip from each delegate, passport information for each delegate and other information about four weeks in advance? Answer, Passports and bios, yes. Learning objectives may come at less than four weeks. 8. Should the contractor arrange for a single/double rooms at a three or four start hotel? Answer, Single rooms, four star hotels.
