Description
TRANSPORTATION DATA PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS VENDOR PACKAGING INSTRUCTIONS Solicitation This requirement is for the procurement of digital data analyzers. NSN: 6625-01-599-6959RH. This RFQ is for a basic qty of 1-23 EA and four one year ordering periods for a qty of 1-10 each year. Delivery Schedule: 90 DAYS ARO ORDER. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. A copy of this solicitation is posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. All responsible sources may submit a quotation. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit as a sole source requirement to JDSU. Authority of 6.302-1. Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. Technical data is not available for this acquisition. These digital data analyzers must be capable of meeting the testing needs of the Air Force for the installation and maintenance of data communication circuits and network elements. The device shall offer enhanced troubleshooting capabilities as well as an Advanced Datacom Results (ADVR) option; with software options to allow for further troubleshooting applications past simple (go/no go) testing down to root cause analysis of circuits problems. In addition the ADVR option will provide clock and data phase graphing as well as broken lead detection. The unit must meet the requirements of MIL-PRF-28800F, Performance Specification: Test Equipment for Use with Electrical and Electronic Equipment General Specification. SURPLUS EQUIPMENT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
