Description: 06/26/2012; THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The NCO 19, Rocky Mountain Network Contracting Center, 4100 E. Mississippi Ave, Glendale CO is performing market research to determine if there are a sufficient number of qualified businesses that are certified to repair and perform preventive maintenance on Sterrad Sterilization Equipment located at The VA Medical Center 2121 North Ave, Grand Junction CO, 81501. All qualified businesses to include Veteran Administration Certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB); Small or emerging small business firms; or businesses who have established FSS/GSA schedules, certified 8(a) and large businesses are urged to participate. The Government will use responses to this notice to make an appropriate acquisition decision regarding business size categories. The award is being considered for one base year and option years with performance period ™s that may extend out to four years. Services shall be performed in accordance with terms, conditions, in this statement of work and be incompliance with all manufacturer technical specifications and maintain the original equipment warranty. The contractor accepts responsibility for the śSterrad(r) NX Sterilization System, SN 0033102384 ť in śas is ť condition. Please see attached (Draft) Statement of Work (SOW) for performance requirements. The contractor shall supply all commensurate equipment, human resources, technical skills and training, and all other requirements illustrated in the SOW, contractors proposal (s), and those requirements applicable in performing preventive maintenance checks, services and inspections for the Sterrad Sterilization Equipment. All interested businesses who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, with information describing their interest, capabilities, geographic location and indicate which socio-economic category and NAICS for which they qualify. Please forward all correspondence to Steven R. Gardner, U.S VA Contracting Officer no later than 1700 hours MT, (Mountain Time), 07 July 2012. Solicitation Sources Sought Notice VA259-12-R-0340 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The NAICS Code 811219 is appropriate to this acquisition, the size standard for a firm to be considered has an Emerging Small Business is no greater than 50 percent of NAICS Code with a Business Size Standard of $16.5. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
