Description

This is a "Notice Of Intent For A Sole Source JustificationRequirement", for a Contractor to provide 1 each Inspector - 1000 system w/1.5" x 1/5" LaBr Detector IN1K digital Handheld MCA System IPROL - 1 Stabilized, Intelligent LaBr probe Cables, charger, soft case Genie-2000 S504C and S501C software to NIST. Canberra Industries is the only source that can satisfy NIST Radiation Facility requirements. NIST Radiation group currently used Genie 2000 software and its algorithms for gamma and x-ray sepctrum analysis for the fixed spectrum analysis instrument. The same proprietary software is used with the InSpector 1000, which allows Radiations Safety the ability to collect date on the scene and do a quick analysis in the field and or transfer the data to the fixed instrumentation in the lab for further analysis.
