SYNOPSIS This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to obtain information from qualified businesses, with special interest in seeking: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and Small Business Concerns. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The NAICS code is 511120 DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/WORK STATEMENT 1. Title of Project: Wolters Kluwer - OVID Database renewal. 2. Scope of Work: Wolters Kluwer - Ovid Technologies, Inc., shall host and provide subscription of electronic collection of journals in the field of nursing psychiatry, medicine, pharmaceutical. These resources are used by clinicians and medical personnel to enhance patient care. Subscription dates 07/02/2012 through 07/01/2013. 3. Location of Services Provided: Location of services is the Atlanta VAMC. The following are the journals housed in this collection; EMBS-DB-741 EBMR-DB-ICU HAPI-DB-I85 IPAB-DB-I70 MEDL-DB-166 PSY-DB-187 OCBM-GP-111 AJEP-JN-99 AJEP-JN-99 AJPH-JN-95 AEME-JN-96 AORN-JN-95 AONE-JN-95 AOOP-JN-95 AOOT-JN-95 AOSU-JN-95 CHST-JN-95 DIAB-JN-95 GERN-JN-96 JACI-JN-96 JBJS-JN-93 JCEM-JN-99 JABF-JN-95 NEJM-JN-93 JLCM-JN-96 OULO-TC-001 4. Background: This electronic database has been purchased by the Atlanta VAMC for approximately 14 years 5. Performance Period: 07/02/2012 through 07/01/2013 6. Type of Contract: This shall be a firm fixed price contract. POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1) Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address, NAICS code(s), business size (i.e., small/large) and DUNS Number. 2) Provide a Statement of Capability that demonstrates the offeror's past performance in providing this type of service. 3) Submit Capability Statements via email to brad.nelson@va.gov by June 27, 2012. Responses should be received no later than 12:00 PM EST. NO CAPABILITY STATEMENTS MAY BE SUBMITTED AFTER JUNE 27, 2012. AT THIS TIME NO SOLICITATION EXISTS.
