Description

Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a hard copy will not be issued. A. Description: The Department Of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 2 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery Services Contract to a qualified firm(s) with the capability and capacity to provide regulated waste removal services in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations for VISN 2 network hospitals and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) #1-15 in Paragraph (B) listed below. Performance of the required services will begin August 1, 2012 or as soon as possible after award through July 31, 2013. Contract performance will be for the base requirements and four (4) one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 562112 and the Small Business Standard is $12.5 million. This procurement is 100% Set Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Award(s) will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) Parts 12 and 15 utilizing the evaluation factors (Technical Factors, Past Performance and Price) contained in Section E, paragraph E.1 of VA528-12-R-0451. Business concerns may submit offers to service all of the locations in Section (B) below or on a location by location basis. Proposals must be received by Tuesday, July 24, 2012 by 2:00 PM (EST).
