- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to remove the small business set-aside and extend the solicitation response date to 20 July 2012. The Department of Defense, Washington Headquarters Services, intends to solicit offers in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) HQ0034-12-T-0031 for preventative maintenance services for the onsite Recycling Baler located at the Pentagon - Arlington, VA. The subject requirement will be procured with a total small business size restriction. Work includes quarterly, bi-annual and annual maintenance and inspections of the Pentagon Recycling Baler. All work shall be performed in accordance with the performance work statement (PWS) incorporated in the request for proposal and the specifications that will be provided at time of solicitation issuance. The awarded contract will consist of a 12 month base period with four (4) 12-month option periods. Total contract period, to include options, shall not exceed sixty (60) months. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310. The Small Business size standard is $7,000,000. A site visit is not required for this effort given the Recycling Baler is a standard commercial product and the Government provided PWS provides required information for maintenance service details. This RFP will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on 21 May 2012 on Federal Business Opportunities ( www.fbo.gov ), with a scheduled response deadline of 31 May 2012.
