Description
Cylinder Assembly; System: CH-47 Input NSN: 1650-01-118-5632, 1650-01-222-8087, 1650-01-496-6802, & 1650-01-548-6686 Input P/N: 145H7300-16, 145H7300-20, 145H7300-25, &145H7300-31 Output NSN: 1650-01-548-6686 Output P/N: 145H7300-31 Quanity: Min 50/Max 1225 FMS QTY: 200 The proposed contractual action will be a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), firm fixed price type contract. The listed NSN is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Technical data is available in the form of Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR 1-1650-397) for this requirement. This requirement is non-commercial; therefore, FAR Part 12 will not be used. The only known Approved Sources are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Boeing (Cage Code: 77272), Route 291 & Stewart Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078-1099 and AAR Allen Services, Inc., (Cage Code: 3Y015), 747 Zeckendorf Blvd., Garden City, NY 11530-2188. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment, materials for the Maintenance and Overhaul of these items. This acquisition requires use of the cited statutory authority because this item has been identified as a CSI and therefore, requires overhaul by an approved source in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR), Part 2, Qualification Requirements Subpart 209.270-3. The statute requires that contractual agreements for an aviation critical item for the procurement, modification, repair or overhaul of such item must only be with a source approved by the design control activity. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. Firms that recognize and can perform maintenance and overhaul on the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. No telephone requests for solicitation will be accepted. Request for solicitation will be by fax (256) 313-8194 or mailed. You may mail your request to Terry Carter, CCAM-ALM, Bldg. 5303, 2nd Floor, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35895-5000. Proposals will only be accepted by mail. No data fax or emails will be accepted for proposals. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimate date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
