Description
RFQ (i) (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)This solicitation, FA2517-12-T-6047 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Quotes must be good for at least 30 calendar days. (iii)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-56 (dated 2 Mar 2012) and are found either in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS); Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS). (iv)This requirement is solicited as full and open competition. The NAICS code is 333319, Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery. The small business size standard is 500 employees. (v)The required items are being procured as Brand Name or equal items. The quantity is 1 each. The part numbers and the description for each are as follows: •StingRay 4036 Aircraft Wheel Washer with StingRayWaste Water Processor (P/N #EQ1) Minimum Requirements for the Aircraft Wheel/Parts Washer and Waste Water Processor are as follows: Heavy Duty - Ability to house and wash large aircraft parts. High Turntable Load Capacities Structurally Rugged Turntable - built from solid steel rolled rings, rugged steel webbing and solid steel pins to drive large loads Must fit in room, allowing room to work/walk around the machine. Room dimensions: 17' x 11' x 8' high. Requesting Aircraft Wheel/Parts washer foot print not to exceed the following dimensions: 9'W x 10'D x 7'H. Waste Water Processor foot print must not exceed the following dimensions: 6'W x 5'D x 6.5' H Must fit through entry door: Door dimensions: 7'H x 7'W. Initial heat time must not exceed 90 minutes High Efficiency Eclipse Burner & High Output Electric Heating - Parts washer must maintain temperatures of 160 -195 degrees during our heaviest daily cleaning. Wash Time not to exceed 30 minutes Closed Loop filtration system Waste Water Processing allows for minimal empting contracts Exhaust System Total flow of the system not to exceed 310 gallons per minute and pressure at the nozzle tips must be a minimum of 212 psi. Corrosion Resistant Main Wheel and Nose Wheel washing adaptor for C-130 Aircraft Additional Requirements: Contractor shall be required to set-up equipment (Positioning and Leveling of Washer). Contractor shall be required in person training and operational demonstration. (vi)Vendor to sumit the following information or quote will be considered nonresponsive: •Item information: Description of item, manufacturers part number, warranty and pricing information. •Vendor information: DUNS number, Cage Code, tax ID, terms and conditions. A single award will be made as a result of evaluation of quotes received. The Government will award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Advanced payments are not authorized. (vii)The commercial items being requested shall be priced as FOB destination to 450 West Hamilton St., Ste 171, Bldg. 214, Room 143, Peterson AFB, CO 80914-2353. Delivery terms: Maxium 15 weeks After Receipt of Order (ARO). (viii)The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (FEB 2012), applies to this acquisition. All companies must be registered in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil at time of quote submittal. (ix)The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items (JAN 1999), applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
