This mix includes a higher concentration of barley in the absence of straw mulch. 10,200 acres: Name: Seed/sq. ft. Muttongrass: (Poa fedleriana) 1.0 seeds Arizona fescue: (Festuca arizonica) 0.25 seeds Prairie junegrass: (Koeleria macrantha) 1.0 seeds Mountain brome: (Bromus marginatus) 2.75 seeds Annual Barley: (Hordeum vulgare) 15.0 seeds The 16,000 acres receiving 15 seeds per sq. ft. mixture is a treatment area that will receive a straw mulch cover with the same mixture listed above with 15 seeds per sq. ft.
