Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease sufficient rentable square footage to yield 7,000-8,000 net usable square feet in the Ft. Myers, Florida area for temporary warehouse space. The space must be contiguous and located within a three (3) mile radius of the Gainesville, Florida VA Medical Center. A 10 year/5 year firm term lease will be considered. The minimum requirements for this lease are as follows: 1.Minimum square footage is 7,000 NUSF. 2.Maximum square footage is 8,000 NUSF. 3.Minimum 5 parking spaces on-site. 4.The space is required to have an affixed loading dock or ramp that has a minimum width for one standard semi-trailers. 5.Ceiling height should have a minimum 14 feet of clearance. To be considered, space needs to be accessible from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. Space must be fully air-conditioned with humidity controls and have running water with one (1) unisex restroom. Doors and windows in the building should be fully secured, and the space must have operating/monitored security system and automatic fire suppression/sprinkler system. Space must be within or bordering/facing the delineated area as follows: North to NW 39th Ave South to SE Williston Rd East to Main St West to Interstate 75 To be included in initial considerations, interested offerors shall address ALL of the following when responding to this advertisement. Do not submit responses in binder, spiral format, etc. Submit responses on plain bond paper only with not more than ten (10) pages: 1. Proposed property address with map showing property within the delineated area. 2.Name, phone number and e-mail address of Property Owner. Note, if responding and you are not the property owner, i.e., broker, provide written statement from property owner (owner letterhead) authorizing you to represent the owner. 3.Documentation evidencing that proposed property is outside the 100-year flood plain. 4.Documentation supporting offerors' ability to meet all the Government's requirements identified in this advertisement. 5.Amount of space offered. Note: The minimum acceptable space is 7,000 NUSF and the maximum acceptable is 8,000 NUSF. 6.Number of parking spaces. 7.Date space is available. VA staff will conduct a market survey of properties meeting the above requirements.
