- THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP), Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity (DNPAO) contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price Sole Source Contract to The Nemours Foundation, Jacksonville, FL. The work shall be performed at the Contractor's facility. The Period of Performance shall be from the date of award through December 31, 2012. The North American Industrial Classification Standards (NAICS) Code is 519130 and Standard Business Size of 500 employees. The sole source award will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1); only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. This requirement is a continuation of services already provided and is not set aside for small businesses. The Let's Move! Child Care (LMCC) is a web-based initiative that challenges and empowers early care and education providers across the nation to meet a set of national recommendations for food, beverages, physical activity, screen time and breastfeeding to prevent childhood obesity. The purpose of this acquisition is to perform updates and maintenance to the LMCC website. The services include performing revisions to the overall LMCC site, enhancements to the site including creating a "What's New" feature, and regular maintenance including uploads of new success stories, maintaining a success stories archive, and maintaining the provider information map feature. The website for LMCC, http://www.healthykidshealthyfuture.org is owned and maintained by Nemours. Nemours partnered with the Let's Move! Campaign to develop a website to house and provide free, comprehensive resources and tools developed for LMCC. No other sources have been identified that can provide for web system maintenance, updates and enhancements of www.healthykidshealthyfuture.com. CDC is not requesting competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the services required are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, by July 6, 2012. Determination not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Respondents will assume all financial costs for preparing a response to this notice. The U.S. Government assumes no financial obligation for the preparation and distribution of prepared responses.
