Answer 1 : The word "large" before commercial will be removed in a forth-coming amendment to the solicitation. Question 2 : A question was asked regarding compliance with the MMR requirement if design modifications were done to be compatible with the LRU's that are currently on the C5 aircraft. Answer 2 : The stated "methods and materials" in the MMR refers to components and design/development processes. Compliance with standards and requirements in the PS will also show compliance with this MMR. Question 3 : Provide the Period of Performance for the program and flight test. Answer 3 : Program time-line is identified in Section 7 of the TRD. 3.4 Identifies delivery of HITL Items at 11 Months 3.6 Fit/Functional test at 13 months to include flight demonstration. Flight test is currently contemplated as a limited flight demonstration andnot a full flight test effort. This will occur at 13 months in-conjunction with Fit/Functional test.
