Description: 3/8' wire rope for Coast Guard unit 80 rolls - 3/8" wire rope. Used for mooring of buoys for Coast Guard. Wire core wire is not flexible for crews to effectively handle on decks of ships. Galvanized wire is not cost effective. The degradation of wire crope on our buoys is more from debris striking the wire and cuasin chaffing.
