Description
BLM's has a requirement to construct a fence. This requirement is to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, (except for Government furnished property) to remove, dispose, and replace 3 segments of an existing fence consisting of 2 strands of barbed wire with 24" woven wire and any unsalvageable posts. Replace segments with a 3-wire (2 barbed wires and 1 bottom barbless wire) antelope fence with additional wood and steel posts for the unsalvageable posts as directed and approved by the contracting officer. Please see specifications for all requirements. Work under this contract is located in Bowman County, ND. The period of performance is 55 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work will start on/about 8/2/2012. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238990. This is a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $14.0 million. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due upon notification of our intent to make award. Payment protection can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. A Site Tour will take place. Please see solicitation for date/time/place. Response date for the quotes is July 23, 2012. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted and/or an amendments posted. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award.
