Description

This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) and a contract award will not be made resulting from this questionnaire. Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Keyport is conducting market research in an attempt to identify potential sources possessing the capabilities and experience necessary to fulfill a potential requirement. The purpose of this questionnaire is to gain knowledge regarding potential interested and capable sources within the commercial marketplace in regards to technical experience, as well as the probability that a small business, Prime contractor, will be able to perform the anticipated services. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Keyport In-Service Engineering (ISE) Department is responsible for life-cycle support of combat and weapons systems, and support for torpedo programs and functions for the U.S. Fleet and Foreign Military customers. The purpose of any contract resulting from this posting is to refurbish Government-owned Bogue Electric Manufacturing Company Model 7158, 107 horse power, DC electric motors. Please complete and return the attached questionnaire to Ms. Gracie Doran via email. Your answers to the following questions will be used to assist in acquisition planning efforts, including the determination of small business capabilities. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the evaluation and any future determination to utilize a small business set aside will be conducted per FAR 19 Small Business Programs regulations. All information will be kept confidential and will not be disseminated to the public. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response.
