- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a full and open competition basis with HubZone evaluation preference, 40 each Synthesized S-Band Transmitters with an option quantity of 30 each and an additional option quantity of 30 each. The Synthesized S-Band Transmitters shall conform to specification AS-6157A dated 24 July 2002 and drawing 642AS8215. The transmitter is a synthesized S-band Frequency Modulated (FM) Radio Frequency (RF) telemetry transmitter which is part of a telemetry system and transmits randomized Non-Return-to-Zero Level (NRZ-L) Pulse Code Modulated (PCM) missile flight performance data to a ground station via an antenna. The Government reserves the right to waive the first article for Synthesized S-Band Transmitters that have been previously delivered by the offeror and accepted by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal and will be considered by the agency. To be eligible for an award, prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at website https://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representation and certification via the Online "Representatives and Certifications Application" (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be issued on or about 5 July 2012 and will be available through the Federal Business Opportunity website at htttp://www.fedbizopps.gov.
