- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for King Air Be-300 Initial and Recurrent Pilot Training. The vendor should possess an approved simulator which simulates the full flight characteristics, navigation capability, and all systems malfunction characteristics of a King Air Be-300 series aircraft equipped with the Colllins Pro Line 21 avionics suite. It shall duplicate the aircraft cockpit throughout with precision. The simulator must be Level D or higher and be approved by the FAA in accordance with 14 CFR Parts 60,135 & 142 and AC 120-40. In addition, the contractor must be certified in accordance with 14 CFR Part 142 and provide training service, aids, and facilities that meet or exceed the requirements of 14 CFR Part 135 and 142 and other applicable regulations. All pilot training will be conducted in accordance with Flight Inspection Service's approved training program, 14 CFR Parts 135 and 142. Initial avionics training will be conducted in an approved avionics lab or cockpit training device as stated above. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611512. The FAA contemplates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract for a 1-year period with two 1-year option periods to renew. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
