Description

The El Yunque National Forest, Puerto Rico, has an invitation for bid (IFB) for road repairs. The project consists predominantly of stabilizing slides with gabions and riprap; backfilling and compacting embankments, replacing crushed aggregate base and asphalt concrete pavement; and repairing and installing paved waterways and curbs. Project is located on PR 186 KM 20.4 and PR 191 Km's 5.8, 6.0, 9.1, 12.2 and 12.7 in the municipality of Rio Grande. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns, and the size standard in $33.5 million dollars. The solicitation is expected to be posted on this website by Jul 2, 2012 The magnitude of the requirement is between $100,000 and $250,000. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Federal Business Opportunity website at http://www.fbo.gov for status of solicitation and amendments, if any. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed by FAR Clause 52.204-7 and ORCA.
