Performance Work Statement PUMPING OUT GREASE TRAP - BUILDING 7 Performance Work Statement The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to inspect, pump, clean and remove all food and grease waste in a 2000 gallon grease trap located in an underground tank that is located behind building 7 at the VA Medical Center Sheridan WY. Performance will as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the contract. The contractor will conform to all federal, state, and local requirements to include Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. 1.Routine Maintenance The contractor shall pump out all grease and residues from trap as required upon notification by the COR. The contractor shall remove waste build up from trap or pit walls and all associated equipment within the pit. Clear obstruction in inlet/outlet pipes to ensure unrestricted flow. The contractor shall note any deficiencies during each cleaning, and submit this to the COR. The contractor is responsible for properly disposing of materials/grease and shall transport all materials from grease traps to an approved facility. 3. Workload Estimate/Schedule Grease trap is to be pumped when it becomes 90% full but not less than once a month normally the third week of the month to prevent foul orders and/or overflow from the trap. 4. Reports A Monthly report will be submitted no later than the 3rd business day of the following month of service indicating the amount of material pumped from the trap for that month. This report will be given to the COR.
