- AMENDMENT 0001 DATED 6/18/12 THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO INCORPORATE THE FOLLOWING: A. CORRECT THE SOLICITATION TITLE DESCRIPTION FROM LASER PLASMA ETCH MASKS TO PHOTOVOLTAIC (PV) LASER BURIED GROOVE (LBG) CELL. B. CHANGE THE FSC CODE FROM 59 TO PSC AG. C. DELETE PAGE 1 OF THE ATTACHEMENT. PAGE 1 REFERS TO THE LINE ITEM BREAKDOWN. D. ADD THE REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION TO READ: "CONTRACTOR IS TASKED WITH DEVELOPING AND PRODUCING A TEST BATCH OF HIGH CONCENTRATION CAPABLE PHOTOVOLTAIC LASER BURIED GROOVE CELLS. CONTRACTOR MUST IDENTIFY THE LASER REAR PROCESS, PLASMA ETCH MASKING PROCESS AND THE VIA FORMATIONS USED. CONTRACTOR MUST PROVIDE VIA TRAILS AND DELIVER MANUFACTURE CELL(S)." E. THE CLOSING DATE AND TIME IS EXTENDED TO 3PM FRIDAY JUNE 22, 2012. =================================================== COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation commercial item prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this request for quotation (RFQ) is N66001-12-T- 7121. The government is soliciting quotes for the purchase of the following commercial item. SEE ATTACHMENT FOR LIST OF ITEMS. This combined synopsis/solicitation is a Total Small Business set-aside. This requirement will result in a firm fixed priced purchase order. The applicable NAICS code is 541380 and the business size is $14M. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Current to Fac 2005-56,Effective 02 Apr 2012 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Current to DPN 20120330 (Effective 30 Mar 2012) Edition.
