Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The purpose of this project is to renovate and provide proper architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and telecommunications services to meet the current and future needs of the Pharmacy Department of the Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. The approximate area of the work is 900 SF plus the Roof. Contractor is to provide all labor, materials and supervision at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center to Upgrade the HVAC System in Pharmacy. All work to be completed per Design Documents, Scope of Work, and as shown during Scope validation meeting. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the items listed below: Note: 120 Day Contract. All material/equipment must be in hand before any work starts. Once all material/equipment is in hand work may begin and must be completed in a duration of 8 weeks as shown in the proposed project schedule In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to SDVOSB construction firms. The solicitation will be issued on/about June 29, 2012 with the bid opening on/about July 29, 2012. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOps which may be issued to this solicitation. There will be pre-construction conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-construction conference will be included in the solicitation package. The project magnitude range is bbetween $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220; size standard $14.0 Million applies. Note: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center has moved to new offices. Our new address is 115 South 84th Street, 1st Floor, Milwaukee WI 53214-1476. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and must have current record in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) prior to bid opening.
