- 420 Foot WAGB Hub Assembly and Propeller Blade Standard Inspection Repair Specification R-245-0636 This is Sources Sought Notice issued in accordance with FAR Part 5 and FAR Part 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1. For information regarding this acquisition, contact the Contracting officials listed herein. All inquiries shall be in writing. The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Long Range Enforcer Product Line (LREPL) anticipates a need for the inspection and repair of two (2) hub assemblies and two (2) propeller blade sets used on the 420 foot WAGB in accordance with the attached Statement of Work entitled "420 Foot WAGB Hub Assembly and Propeller Blade Standard Inspection Repair Specification R-245-0636". This acquisition will be under NAICS 336611 with a size standard of 1000 employees. This requirement must be completed utilizing only genuine Rolls Royce parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Remanufactured or Aftermarket parts are not acceptable. The Coast Guard does not own the rights to the technical data necessary to evaluate other parts. Period of Performance: It is anticipated that a commercial firm, fixed priced requirements contract will be awarded. Place of Performance: At the prospective contractor's facility. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide the supplies and services described in the attached Specification/Statement of Work are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within 14 calendar days from the day this notice is posted. The information submitted must include a guarantee that the offeror can obtain genuine OEM parts that can remanufacture these hubs and blades. If you intend to submit an offer on this acquisition, email your response along with any contracting related questions to jennifer.r.blount@uscg.mil. Send technical related questions to stephen.i.hardsock@uscg.mil. In your response you must include: (a) a positive statement of your intention to submit a proposal for this solicitation as a prime contractor, and (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles and dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers. At least two references are requested, but more are desirable. Your response is required by 29 June 2012, 4:00 pm (EST). Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. Submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract as planned. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited.
