Description

This is a sources sought notice for planning purposes only. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this survey. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract shall be awarded from this survey. This synopsis is for market research purposes and to determine the extent of available competition to include socio-economic groups. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this Survey. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), is seeking sources for an upcoming procurement for Interior and Exterior Pest Control Services, for FY 13. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment to accomplish surveillance, trapping, pesticide application and pest removal as per the Integrated Pest Management Program (Pest Control Services) for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, located at 2200 Fort Roots in North Little Rock, AR 72214 and John L. McClellan, 4300 West 7th Street Little Rock, AR 72205,. Little Rock is comprised of 7 floors (GSF 826,051). North Little Rock is one main building with 4 floors and 89 building in a campus setting (GSF 1,474,679). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561710. Contractor shall maintain applicable licenses and permits, and other items and services necessary to perform the requested services. Interested parties may identify and submit in writing their capabilities by including the following: corporate project, experience in medical facility Integrated Pest Management type operations, personal experience, technical/management approach, past performance, certification/license as a pesticide business on June 22, 2012 at 9 am. The Contractor shall adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations. The Contractor shall provide all pesticides equipment, materials, manpower, and transportation to both locations. All licensure and fees must be current with local and state laws. All work shall be performed during normal business hours of the Medical Center (7-3:30 AM excluding federal holidays). Any emergency call out should be provided within 2 hours of the request being made at no charge to the government. All interested parties should submit on company letterhead an indication of the extent of interest to the following address: Ambera L. All Offerors shall identify their socio-economic status, CCR Cage number, and DUNS number in responses. All Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. Additionally, to be eligible for contract award a firm must complete annual representation and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov, and must be current in VETS-100 reporting which can be accomplished at http://www.vets100.cudenver.edu/ must be registered as a certified veteran through VETBIZ http://www.vetbiz.gov.
